A Puzzle Guide for Katachi-Go
Got the real, giant 3D-printed Katachi-Go puzzle? This page is its answer key: every challenge card's starting layout and full solution, browsable by difficulty and level, for both the flat 5×11 tray and the stacked 5-layer pyramid build. No more flipping through a paper booklet or guessing whether you got it right.
How do I find the solution for my puzzle?
Tap "Show Solution" below the puzzle.
Does this guide match the free digital game?
Yes! The 2D puzzles here are the exact same challenges, worlds, and clue-difficulty settings as the free browser game at hoffmakers.com/katachi-go.
What's the difference between 2D Puzzles and 3D Pyramid mode?
2D Puzzles require filling the 5×11 board. Pyramid puzzles are a more challenging 5-layer stacked build — only available with the physical Katachi-Go game. Don't have it yet? The physical Katachi-Go logic game is available for purchase in the Hoffmakers Shop.
What does "mathematically optimized" mean for the physical puzzle?
The 12-piece set wasn't picked by hand — it's the winner of an exhaustive computer search across thousands of candidate shape combinations, chosen because every single piece can reach the very top of the pyramid build while still guaranteeing a perfect 55-sphere fit.
